She was bringing up milk after every feed, lots of back arching and scrunching legs to her chest, refusing to burp and screaming when we tried to burp her. She was given carobel - made her worse. Gaviscon helped a little for a week and then was ineffective and made her so constipated.
She’s now on cow & gate anti reflux. She barely brings up any milk now however still has the other symptoms. Very irritable towards the end of a feed and for a good half hour at least after ( she tires herself out and normally falls asleep ).
She farts quite a lot and screams in pain, wriggling around when doing so. Have also tried infaclol and now colief and nothing seems to help.
What more can I do to help my baby?☹️ I have mentioned possible CMPA to my gp but it was just dismissed as she is gaining weight fine and doesn’t have mucusy poops!

I have had terrible issues with my little one having reflux. It's only now that he is on omeprazole that we are seeing some improvement. The original dose was too low so the GP recommended doubling it and that seems to have helped.
Maybe try that as it does sound like silent reflux. Good luck, I know it's horrible seeing them in pain x

I think the gp dismissed cmpa because of just 1 symptom and that could be colic or silent reflux
They usually don't like putting babies on cmpa formula unless necessary as it's not as good for babies that can have normal milk
Have you tried dentinox or gripe water?
I know its all the same kind of thing but different things work for different babies
Also as above try omerprazle
And it could also be the anti reflux milk upsetting babies tummy as they're thicker and harder to digest

We are going through exactly the same. Cries nearly every feed, arching his back and bringing his legs up cramping in pain. Every poo he has is dark green. Been to the doctors back and forth - as nothing seemed to work. We switch to a comfort milk which eased it slightly
Doctor finally prescribed a cows milk free milk more of a way to start ruling things out. However my little one was actually worse ! We now believe it’s not a dairy intolerance but more that he struggles to break down the lactose. So currently using a comfort milk with colief drops and gripe water which does ease it for him ( well better than what it was !)
I’d deffo stay at it with getting the gp to prescribe a cows milk free milk as a trial then you can at least know if it is or isn’t that.
I know it’s exhausting, I feel ya! There’s no settling them when they get it is there. I’m just hoping that as his digestive system matures he’ll grow out of it!
