It’s been a week since my c-section and i’m recovering well. Did spend 4 days in hospital and not very mobile so thought maybe it’s bruising from being sat in bed or sat a lot?
When i bend over i get pins and needles in that area. Anyone else experienced similar?

Yes I had this! And it’s only recently (and since I’ve read your post tbh!) that I’ve noticed it’s gone. It was only occasionally after that 6-8 weeks recovery period. I’m now 5 months pp and feeling great after my c section. It definitely gets better. Sending love!

I had the same and saw a physio two weeks after birth. My issue was muscular, perhaps due to the spinal but also I was in labour and had an emergency c-section so wasn’t sure if it was to the labour, not sure. The physio gave me a massage and ultrasound on the area and released all the muscles. I had to have two treatments, but it was really worth it as I was in a lot of discomfort when I sat down x
Thank you! I was getting worried as it’s more uncomfortable than my section area now. I want to nap but it’s so hard to! I’m on constant pain relief at the moment anyway… any tips for managing it/making it better or is it something I just need to put up with until i’m more mobile and a much further into recovery?

It was so painful to sit on lay on and when walking for a while after my section. Also I do get it on and off now and I’m 9weeks pp on thursday. In fact my whole back I’m suffering with since the section I have physio in two weeks so going to mention it.

Yes, I had this about 1 week PP. There was a bruise right at my coccyx. I wasn't sure what the cause was but my guess is that it was from sitting and sleeping mostly upright. Went away once I was able to sleep lying down comfortably. Also tried to sit with better posture when feeding.

I had this and had to see a chiropractor for regular adjustments and strength exercises

I’m almost 16 months PP and it’s still an issue, the sooner you see a specialist the better!! 😊

Same thing!
