I always wanted to nurse, however my baby was premature and had trouble latching/sucking/swallowing. Now at one month old he is latching beautifully and I am trying to nurse him exclusively. However I don’t think he empties my breast completely, or only feeds from one side each feeding and the other is left engorged. I’m having a lot of pain not pumping . Should I of slowly dropped the pumping/weaned myself from the pump? I’m scared my milk supply will drop if I don’t keep pumping or I’ll get mastitis . Any advice?

You can pump the extra milk that baby doesn't eat. Don't empty them, just empty enough for the pain and stiffness to go away. That way, your body will make less but you will also have a little extra to freeze incase you need someone else to feed baby. If you drain your breast completely your supply will stay where it's at so try not to fully empty unless that's what you want.
