My 13mo daughter is always interested and eats well at breakfast and lunch but dinner she seems over it. Is that normal? Do you give more food during any certain meal of the day than others?

I give more at dinner and that’s usually when mine eats best. Bfast and lunch she’s still pretty much just playing with food. But she’s breastfed and i kinda figure that by the end of the day I’m empty and maybe that’s why she’s hungrier then..(?)

Mine sounds similar to yours. He’s 13 months minus a few days. He eats his breakfast in full most days, porridge and yogurt. He snacks and eats lunch without issue early afternoon, but dinner is a struggle. He plays with his food, barely wants to eat. I don’t try and force him, because I know he will eat if he’s hungry!

My son is almost 14m and dinner is usually his heaviest meal. He always picks at his breakfast and some days are better than others:/ I do give more food during lunch and dinner as those meals lead up to bedtime and we want him tummy to be full.

My daughter don’t normally eat lunch. It’s more of a snack for her. She eats a full breakfast and a pretty decent amount of her dinner.

My son is the same. He eats very well at breakfast and dinner. Lunch is more of a snack time.

My daughter eats decent at breakfast, picks at lunch, and hogs at dinner depending on how many snacks she has had throughout the day but dinner is always the biggest meal for her.

I just do breakfast and dinner, maybe a snack of some sort at lunch but not to much... that works for us and he drinks 1 bottle a day 8-9oz

I’m hoping she’ll start to eat better over the next few weeks. I know at this age they can be on the picky side.

My daughter is the same! She will usually chow down a ton at breakfast and eat fairly well at lunch and she will snack after her afternoon nap which usually leads to her not being super hungry for dinner. She eats what she wants and I don’t force it!

It depends I always give fullish plates as he throws food on the floor and sometimes he’s hungrier. I probably plate more for dinner as I make more options and give him a bit of everything with fruit but he’s welcome to one or two snacks which are most likely a pouch or baby food between breast milk and meals
