I'm due to start my treatment next week but my period has decided to come early ( today). Has this happened to anyone and did the hospital start your treatment straight away or push it back?

What treatment are you due to start? Do you have your protocol and drugs ready to go? This happened to me, I was due to start drugs on day 2 of my period but it came early, so they just said start on day 2 anyway. It wasn't pushed back at all

IVF on the short cycle protocol, but i haven't had anything sent to me yet (should be this week). I'm always regular, so it's frustrating I've come on 6 days early.

This happened to me and because I didn’t have my drugs or my protocol yet, it totally fucked up the plan that month. If you have everything you need, you’re ok. Otherwise you might need to wait another month.

@Sharon yeah this is what I'm worried about. I already asked to move it forward as well as they wanted to start things in April ( when they originally booked it in at the beginning of feb) so i really hope they don't push it back to April or even later 😞 i guess there's not much I can do but wait to hear from them

I’m sorry. There is a chance it won’t happen this month. In which case, try to see it as a blessing in disguise and an opportunity to focus on yourself for a little bit longer. Xx
