How can I get my 2 mo old to take naps that are longer? My 2 month old is taking shorter naps but they are frequent and throughout the day. She can fall asleep easily but doesn’t stay asleep. She is fed and clean and it’s quiet so I have no idea what her problem is!

How long are the naps?

Like no more than 20 min!

Sadly, when my baby was this small we do a lot of contact naps that made her nap 2-3 hours long, after a while we transitioned to transferring her to a bed

Agreed, contact napping for around 2-3hrs. Get ready with alot of Netflix 😉

My baby does this too I just hold him the little wrap thing helps a lot he will sleep for 2 hours or 3 if he’s in it

Contact napping was the best but if you don’t want to have you tried sleeping sacks ? I never did but I heard they work like a charm ! Especially the ones where you can tuck the baby’s arms all snuggled in a burrito wrap 🤗

At 2 months I was sleeping right along with my baby. We both needed the naps 🤣

Longer wake periods

Are you exclusively breast feeding ? If so try burping and giving more milk before putting to bed. / change nappy.
If you are bottle feeding either pumping or formula give extra milk and see if baby finishes it if not add extra untill baby leaves a bit that way you know baby is full. Eg give baby 4oz and if baby leave 1 oz you know baby is full in the next feed give 3oz after a few days increase back to 4oz see if baby leave 1oz or if baby finishes it increase to 5oz and so on xxx
