Hoping to hire someone to help with the baby and do some light housework while he naps twice a week for a few hours. How much do you typically pay per hour for babysitting?

@Evelin is it really that cheap for someone to clean and take care of baby? She needs more than a babysitter.

I have a nanny who comes 3-5 days per week from 10a-3p (my baby's busiest hours). She reads, draws, paints with my baby, gives her bath time, takes her to reading circles & kids events at the local library, takes her to the park, washes dishes, etc. For all intents and purposes, she's our part time nanny. She's $20/hr, my previous one was only $18/hr but is a ft college student so she had to go back. I'd say to budget anywhere between $20-25/hr

Is your nanny available Monday or Tuesdays?
