Whole mix is 3.8 % you should not be giving 2 %

How much ml do I give? Doc asked to give 2% when we went for the 1year appointment

I am giving 3.25%

Oh no. Full fat is always better. Even for adults. I don’t know why your doctor would say that. 2 % is more processed and stripped of fat: they need fat for their brain development

Sorry I mean 3.25%

Not 3.8

Thanks a lot ladies, will switch to full fat. I have been giving her 2% since last 6months

Hi Simi, I’m a peds dietitian and just wanted to add— up until 2yrs, 3.25% is generally recommended, around 16-24oz daily. There may be less common cases to reduce to 2% prior to this, so if you’re speaking with your doctor you could always clarify if there is a reason for this suggestion. But generally, 3.25% until 2yrs

Thanks Bradie
