Are any moms working from home? What do you do? I am having such a hard time finding work from home positions and I have one month of savings left (not including bills or food). I think I made the best decision for me and my family in resigning from my job to be home with my baby and care for my mom. I’m just freaking out on keeping up with bills. My partner is so incredibly supportive but also don’t want him to have to take on my own personal bills (car note, insurance, etc). What are you guys doing for income? I’m a nurse but I have so much anxiety about leaving my baby. I literally get sick, nauseous, migraines, etc. at the thought of leaving her.

Following, I'm also super curious

Fleet Manager I have been working from home a little over 3yrs however I wasn't always remote. Prior to covid I traveled all over and worked on site with the pandemic my job became remote and I was lucky enough to where it stayed that way. I am not sure how easy or hard it is to find remote jobs as I mentioned mine wasn't initially remote and I've been with my company a long time.

I work for Arise- you can get certified then contracted with multiple companies (currently I service for Agero Roadside and soon I’ll be in my certification class for TurboTax)

Ttecjobs.com I was hired for customer service at the Texas Dept of transportation. All paid training. just keep checking for a wfh opening. If there is one, apply, msg me, and I can refer you.

I'm going vto do part time tutoring with varsity tutors

I was in the same boat I decided to do what I love and that was become a digital freelancer. I would say find something that you love and can give you that flexible opportunity from home.

I feel like there are work from home nurse positions. My cousin is a nurse and she works from home. I’ll try to figure out what she does

I'm a nurse who works from home. I still need to use daycare, though, because I need to be available to talk to patients over the phone. Our daycare is close to home, so I can easily walk there and get the kids.

you create content, social media post. Partner with company’s, you can create YouTube channel and share a hobby, you can create other things like create e books about how to make sourdough bread. Digital world is endless I have do social media management for small business to help them grow the page while they focus on their products. I love what I do.

but also if I am having a rough day with my son 90% of my stuff is automation so I don’t have to stress about any work.

Another job idea is to be a virtual assistant. You assist businesses with emails, calls and other things
I keep running into jobs that need more than one license and I’m only licensed in California. I literally can’t afford any other license right now.
if that’s the case, my partner has a flexible job and can be here with the baby while I work. We are in California and daycare cost as much as rent

My job is through our local clinic, so I did not need any further licensing than if I reported to work in person. I would definitely look into your local clinics! That's really helpful if you can avoid daycare, too. We just use it part time and it's still 1.5 times our mortgage payment.
oh okay! Yea I’ve been looking. I’m going to gather a list of clinics in my city and surrounding and check. Yea the daycare industry is capitalizing for sure!

With a medical background, you could look into medical billing and coding

A lot of insurance companies and health insurance. I wfh but I can say it’s NOT easier w the baby. By the end of my shift I am exhausted and I feel as if I’ve neglected my responsibilities with her through the day

I work from home with my little one she’s 7.5 months. I work for Trinity Health they usually have a lot of WFH jobs you’ll just have to search the site. https://jobs.trinity-health.org/
