My little boy is 3 and we have the ikea highchair. Just wondering when we should stop using this? And if so what should we then use instead as he would be too short to reach the table on our dining chairs

We stopped using the highchair at 18 months and got my son a toddler table and chair off marketplace. He sits there to eat, draw and play and allows him the freedom to get up and down when he wants. Obviously your little man is happy in his highchair! Mine just kicked off all of a sudden and hated it so that's why we moved him!

Same as above for my daughter.

We purchased an ikea table and chairs for toddler. Believe it was around £25-30. My son began by using it as his craft and play table, then it was snacks for snack time.eventually he began using it for his meals also. This was when he was around 2.5 years old. Now it's in constant use by him, if he doesn't sit there (for any reason) he gets grumpy.
Previously we had a wooden table and chair set that was also a high chair. We always gave him the option of the table portion or high chair portion. We got this from Facebook marketplace (expensive if bought brand new for us). This especially helped as it still had the straps to keep him in place during meals when he wanted the table portion of it so he wouldn't keep running off to play from a few bites of meal

We stop around 15 months, my daughter wanted to sit on tables with us and we got her a toddler chair and table
