Please tell me the 8 month regression doesn't last long. My little girl is almost 8 months so it's started early but Jesus she's up every 30mins-1hour for the entire night and I am EXHAUSTED. Previously she was up 1-2 times per night which was fine. This however is fresh hell. She wakes up screaming each time and is so so loud. I'm taking her for a checkup today to rule out any infections however I'm pretty sure I'll get told she's teething 🙄ðŸ˜

I feel your pain ! My little one who’s around the same age has been like this since Christmas, she used to be so good and sleep 7/8 hours but I honestly do not know what is going on 🙈 she won’t even go in her crib/next to me/travel cot without screaming and wakes up screaming shortly after if by some miracle I manage to get her down. She is fine contacting napping though so we now split the night and swap over at 3am so we can both get some undisturbed sleep. Keep telling myself it’s just a phase but when will it end 😂🙈 I’m not sure if it’s separation anxiety.

Sounds like separation anxiety. My LG was doing this but just kept trying to put her down and would comfort her when she wouldn't and it did pass and now sleeping better in her cot

my little girl has also been unsettled since Christmas but the sleep issue is new! She was never great before but wow this is tough. Also talking about doing shifts - it's just working out the practicalities in it as when she wakes she is loud! So so loud 😂 the things we go through for our kids

did it take long? I did wonder as she's prime age for separation anxiety. We try not to pick her up and just settle when we go in! Then leave her to it and return to bed. Thank God we have grandparents around who can help us so we can catch up on our sleeeep

@ Hollie Sutcliffe it only took a few days actually, less than a week. I mostly have to pick her up to settle her but that's generally and not just during this phase

: I am facing the same and oh boy! Sleep was never this tough for me.
However, my little boy is same even with the contact napping. So I don't think so it is seperation anxiety for him . I was thinking it could be teething. What makes you think it is not teething? Have you tried anything for teething issues?

they have a good pair of lungs on them for such little things don’t they 😂 we take it in turns staying downstairs because I struggled to go to sleep if I could hear her crying so was basically staying up all night with her. On the plus side I’m bingeing loadssss of series but I do miss a good nights sleep 😴
