I am currently 2 weeks into the 4 month sleep regression and I am a zombie!
My 4.5 month old used to sleep from about 9pm to 6am, sometimes with one or two wake up, sometimes all the way through. When she did wake up she would go straight back down after a feed.
We are now in the thick of it. She is awake every 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on the night. Nothing seems to soothe her apart from feeding. When she does fall back asleep in my arms after feeding, she wakes up immediately after going back in her cot and I have to start the process again. Most nights I end up bringing her into my bed between 2 and 4am just to try to get a few hours myself.
I am trying to keep hopeful and ride it out but feeling really overwhelmed, exhausted and depleted. Even though I know it won’t be forever, it feels relentless at the moment.
Has anyone been through the regression and come out the other side with a good sleeper? 🙏🏼

Just wanted to say that I’m in the same boat and it is hard out here. My self settling little super star will now only sleep on me and I am tired! Let’s hope we’re nearing the end of it, feels like it’s been going on for a life time now and mama needs sleep, even a 2 hour stretch would do me at this point .

Also just here to say me too! My LO will only sleep on me and will only settle with a feed. She used to be so content but now it’s a battle to get her to sleep and she is overtired all the time.

Same boat but it is getting better slowly. I was exactly the same with my boy, but he started at around week 14 and he’s 19 weeks now 🤯 it’s getting better defo, hang in there

this sounds like what I’m going through right now with my 4.5 month old, he’s moaning and crying all night every 45 mins - 2 hours and barely sleeping unless being fed and then will fall asleep. Is your little one also moaning crying?

We are the same. I'm praying it gets better. I feel wind is an issue too. She'll feed and fall asleep and then need to burp so wake herself up.. all night long.
Last night I put her into bed with my husband and she slept for two hours!! We are lucky we have a spare bed. I'm not sure if it's because she can smell the milk on me.

My baby is almost 5 months now and we've been in it for 6 weeks but it did improve after about 2-3 and now she gets mostly 2 hour stretches with some 3, but still no signs of sleeping longer unless shes on the bed, she can sleep for 4

@Amber Im sorry you’re going through this too! And yes, Amber, my girl is also moaning and crying too. 😵💫 Fingers crossed sleep is on the horizon for us all! I’m always here for a late night message if anyone needs it! X
Thank you! It’s so nice to hear that it does eventually get better! 🥰
