Nursing advice?

I would check with your insurance to see if they cover a lactation consultant. Not all do, but some cover a set number of visits.

When you give birth, the lactation team come around asking if you need help. If not then just make sure to ask the nurses so they can get the team to come and help you

I breastfed for the first time very successful, its like baby knew what to do. I was lucky, I would say definitely do skin to skin contact when baby comes out and then try breastfeeding in that moment.
My breasts were Engorged different times when baby would sleep for too long but I found that the hakaa (bought on amazon) really helped as I would attach when she's breastfeeding to release either side or use to walk around with when shes sleeping to keep releasing. The milk I released I then froze
