My baby boy has just hit the 4 month sleep regression stage 🥳😭
Any tips on how to survive it would be greatly appreciated 😅

No tips just solidarity, my daughter has reverted to only sleeping on me during the day (but so much harder than when she was little because now she’s distracted by everything!) and refusing to go in her cot at night. 😴

Survive it. Take one day at a time. Mine lasted 7 weeks of waking 15-30 mins throughout the night. On the really bad nights just make yourself a cup of tea and know it does come to an end.
Also a lesson I learnt at the end which I wish I had done sooner. Be consistent with your routine. Do not change it!
I changed mine thinking I was helping and sent her into a further 4 weeks of it. If I had kept to the original one I would of managed 3 and been done xx

Same here!

Co sleep!

& get rest throughout the day when you can.
Sleep when the baby sleeps x

Wine, chocolate and some good tv you can watch while you’re up with baby. Try and get some sleep in the day if you’ve got someone who can keep an eye on baby

What helped me a lot is tracking wake windows, usually 1:15/1:30 sometimes 1:45min so when the window was about to close I gently tried to put my son to sleep and obviously it was hit or miss but so far he’s been doing good. It’s not so much regression more like trying to establish the routine for us. Also I’ve noticed if he sleeps more than 6 hrs during the day he will definitely wake up in a middle of the night, so yes I do wake him up from long naps. Try huckleberry app works like a charm for me.

I can also vouch for the huckleberry premium app it was a miracle worker! But i remember not being able to put my baby boy down once he was asleep it drove me nuts!!! What helped i found was wrapping him in a blanket and then once asleep lowering him into his crib by the ends of the blanket so its like the blanket is a sling and then tucking the blanket ends under the mattress so its not a risk. Gosh i do not miss the 4m regression it was killer so i really sympathise with you, if you stay consistent it eventually passes, i also found if i lay on my bed when he was in his next to me crib and he could see me i would pretend to sleep (eyes closed) but stroke his face at the same time and he started to fall asleep himself when i did that so worth a try

My tip is get an air purifier for their room. Not sure if it's just my son, but we were going through a 4 month sleep regression early at 3 months. He used to sleep 9 hours straight and then went to walking up 2 3 times a night. Turned the air purifier in his room on and off before bed and he slept 8-9 hours uninterrupted again. He sleeps much better.
