Almost 6 months pp and I still feel like I’m failing as a mom because I can’t give my daughter as much breastmilk like I had planned 🥲

Your doing your best, you are not failing as a mom. I was not able to breastfeed it the hospital but I was forced to anyways so she lost a pound and I felt like I hurt my baby because of it and I told them I wanted to breastfeed if I could and bottle feed, but nope I just breastfeed her

I know there are breastmilk groups and people who donate if you wouldnt mind that. Fed is best. My mom told me that if you feel like a bad mom you aren't because bad moms don't care they are bad.

if you were a bad mom you would not try your hardest to make sure your baby has what they need, and I could have done that but I did not trust it because I know they take into consideration that they are feeding someone else baby but I did not like the idea, who k ows what they are putting in there body's and what if your baby is allergic to it

Breastfeeding and pumping can take a toll on us moms mentally and emotionally- and your worth as a mother is more than milk.
Baby needs a sane mom more than they need breast milk. Give yourself compassion, give yourself grace. You are a good mom, period :)

You quite made it! You can start now with zucchini and adding carrots etc… the breast milk will be a secondary- dessert :)
I am in the same boat. I don’t have enough milk either…. She always is looking for more after the meal :(

I understand that that's why I said if you were okay with it. I helped someone feed their baby in exchange of clothes before.

do you need clothing
