Albie

What does everyone think of the name Albie? My husband and I are really considering it but wondered the following…
1) will it suit him as an adult?
2) is it too ‘trendy’?
3) is it too popular?

We are deciding between this name and the name Zachary/ Zach.

I love the name Albie, it’s on our name list too. For an adult they can go by Al if they didn’t want to go by Albie or by their middle name/ nickname

Never heard of it , so going to say not too popular or trendy. But pick a name you love - it’s your kid !

Love the name Albie!! Could be Albert full name and you just call him Albie x

We are considering Albert and either albie or Bertie for what he will be referred as.

I’d go with Albert and then call him Albie then he has more flexibility with names as he gets older.

If it’s a full name I don’t like it on an adult, if short for Albert I think it works better.

My friends 6 year old son is called Albie
I have heard a few boys with the name but I wouldn't say it was too popular

I love Albie! I think it suits a child and adult, but if he wanted to be more formal he could go by Al.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
