I’ve got twins on the way so I bought 2 cribs - initially one will be in our bedroom, and the other will be downstairs in the living room for day time naps, later we will move both into their room.
The bedroom one is easy as I can just close the door, but the downstairs one is in sort of an open plan space with the kitchen, utility and living area where his cat flap is, so I can’t close the door, but I want to keep the crib clean of his fur and dirty paws.
Did anyone else have this issue, any tips of how to secure it effectively?

I think you can buy covers for them? They're like nets I think. I mean it won't look very pretty but it's an option xx

I read that cats hate tin foil, so to use that. Seemed to work the first time my cat jumped in the crib!

You can get ones that are more like a canopy but I think it depends on the shape of the cot!

We lined ours with tin foil on the edges, sides and inside. Left it for a month and she never ever jumped in it again!

didn’t even think that there’s something like that, I thought I would have to diy the solution 😆 thank you for the link will check it out

we did get a random cat when we first moved in and caught him/ hear eating my cat’s food 😆 but from what I’ve seen since then it looks like my cat has established himself as a king of the street and is managing to keep his territory and we haven’t seen any randos since so hopefully it stays that way 😅

I’ll test the tin foil with my cat tonight to see if it works on him 😁
