Repeated night wakes

There actually have been a lot of reports that for most babies sleep training doesn’t work.
It’s just one of those things they grow out of eventually. I know it’s tough, we were up 10 times (yes, literally ten!) last night. Hang in there.

My little boy falls asleep independently and still wakes hourly , like Kristine says sleep training does not work for all children , I just know it won’t last forever x

I don't know how old your LO is but I've just started giving mine a bit of weetabix before bed and she's started sleeping through the night x

@Natalie hes nearly 13months. he has dinner at 6 and a bottle at 7 and is asleep by 7:15 so not sure there would be space in his belly for more food 🤔

@Sam I see what you mean. 🤔 I haven't got any other suggestions. Maybe increase the amount of milk in the last bottle? X

I don't know if extra food will be the solution. You're basically just sending him into a sleep coma 😅.
Would cosleeping be an option?

@Daphne we do cosleep after about 2am if he wakes up and he sleeps better in our bed, problem is we don't as he sleeps horizontally... all our friends from antenatal class count it as a bed night if baby doesn't sleep 8hrs straight at a minimum and it feels like we are the only ones who have never slept through

I can tell you 99% your NCT friends are lying 🤣🤣 honestly! Very few babies sleep 8 hours straight as its developmentally normal for babies to wake up and majority or the babies/toddlers have night wakes until the age of 2 at least. Sometimes even longer.
Try not to compare to what other people it as.
Do you have a spare room you or.your partner could sleep?
I know it's not ideal but it won't last x

Nope my boy is still up every 2/3 hours too. Every hour at some points in the night 💀
