This may seem unreasonable to some but I hope most will understand and provide guidance. I will be a single parent due in July. I currently make around 99k a year. Let's be real I technically live paycheck to paycheck as I have rent, insurance, phone, light, and all essential bills to pay by myself. Even my medical bills aint free due to high deductibles. I work full-time in Staten Island. Are there any programs in New York (preferably SI or NJ/Bk areas close to SI) that will provide assistance /vouchers towards child daycare services?

u can also put the dad on child support and they will force him to pay for half if this helps.

Early academy daycare in jersey city NJ is $750 a month- i said that right love 190 a WEEK. i’m in the same predicament so i signed my baby up.

@Nia thanks for sharing love. Also, your baby girl is precious 😍

also see if your employer participates in WEX FSA program flexibile benefits also helped me- TAX FREE child care, they take $ out your check tax free then give in flex spending account
so in essence your paying less for your childcare

thank you 😊 of course some helped me - got to share the knowledge it’s hard out here
I will definitely look into that. It's crazy because we are in a different tax bracket we get taxed more so it's as if we not even making that much lol.
