Falling from the bed

I always have been told that after a fall with head bump to keep awake for the next hour or so and monitor. If falling asleep just checking/monitoring. And if any sickness/change of behaviour to call for medical advice I would say.
Accident happens so much when they start rolling!
Seek for medical advice to get your LO checked maybe just to make sure and make you feel better 🤗

I know I’m 3 hours too late, but my little boy did something similar this morning. I took him to the walk in centre, he’s absolutely fine and was laughing 2 minutes later but I wanted him checked over for my peace of mind and they said he’s absolutely fine. As above has said, I was told just to keep an eye on him, any sickness/drowsiness/crying uncontrollably then to take him back. I’ve felt like the worst mother all day because I turned my back for a second and he pushed him self off the end of a foot stool (it was very low to the floor) but he slid down onto the top of his head then flipped over onto his face. I cried more than him, I was inconsolable for hours honestly but accidents do happen and the doctor told me a story of an accident with her baby which settled me to know that even professionals have accidents with their babies. Hope baby and yourself are okay, it’s such a shock 😣🫶🏻

I did this at 1-2 weeks with a 6lb baby.

Next 48 hours look for behaviour changes
Vomiting more than twice a&e
Make sure can arouse from sleep

Normally they’re fine. The worst part is the guilt!!
