Has anyone’s LO’s started to have regular naps during the day? If so how did you do it? I’m thinking of getting up at 8am and then LG will need her first nap 1.5 hours afterwards (this is the one nap I can time 😂). I really want her to have a longer nap at lunchtime for a couple of hours but at the minute she does this on her last nap. She’s having 3/4 naps a day. Any suggestions on what I can do or is it too early for her to be in any sort of routine? She’ll be 4 months next week

We started this week.
Wake up 7.
First nap 9-she will either do 1hr45 or 45mins
Then 1.5-2hrs wake window
This nap im still working on but aim for 1.5hr-2hr nap.
Then 1.5-2hr wake window
Then final nap is 30mins before beginning bedtime routine at 6.45pm and asleep in cot by 7.30pm.
I started it this week after 5 weeks of hell (4month sleep regression) I had enough so started this and it's made a massive difference already 🤞🙌

Try starting the second nap a little later! They will probably go longer for the second, then the third will be shorter. Stick to 3 naps only!
How long is first nap? Make sure it's not too long

first nap is normally 30-45 mins so not long at all. Then the second is around the same after 1.5/2 hour wake window.

thanks I need to stick to something and try it this week and see how it goes. It’s always worrying changing something in case it messes up with sleep at night because she’s not been too bad recently!
