Sleep

Is anyone else experiencing the same?

My 5 month old little one is constantly waking through the night, never seems to sleep long stretches. We’ve already been through a sleep regression!😩 Does anyone else feed their little one still through the night? This is the only way I can settle my little one back to sleep😩

Night feeds are still biologically very normal at this age x

I don't feed my girl during the night. (Since 9 weeks old) it's the very last resort if she won't settle back down. Although she has slept through since 9 weeks apart from the very odd night. I think we have hit the regression now :(

My baby wakes up every couple of hours, sometimes 45 mins, sometimes after 3 hours and feeds to get back to sleep. I’m literally a zombie at the moment 🥲

My 5 month old doesn’t fully wake up but he would if i didn’t dream feed him.. he starts to stir around 4/5am so I make sure to keep his bottle ready. He has his 180ml and I go back to sleep 🥲

I’m in the same boat. Bedtime is between 8-9pm. Bedroom routine is bath, lotion, PJs, book, sleeping bag, white noise, total darkness. He self settles to sleep, no problem. He sleeps for a few hours until I dream feed him, but come 1am he’s stirring again. Then sometimes 3am and again about 5am. I make sure he is getting his day time sleep, his milk when he wants it. I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

Has anyone tried the sleep coach apps? If so what helps.

Still feeding here! My LO goes to bed around 7pm, then usually wakes around 11ish, 3ish and then up for the day around 5/6 am 😅. He's often have a full bottle at 11 & 3. Some nights he'll do much longer stretches, but we've also had some awful nights during the sleep regression x

You're not alone but for us it's quite random. This week I had one absolutely horrendous night (up every 30 mins for soothing), last night had about 6 feeds but little soothing, and I had 3 good nights with only 2-3 feeds and little soothing so it's a lottery. Keeps me on my toes lol

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
