It feels like I’ve been pregnant for years but I swear I only announced it to my friends and family like a month ago? Birth and motherhood always felt like forever away but suddenly it’s all imminent? Maybe I’m hitting that panic mode and it’s time for it all to dawn heavily on me, all at once that everything is about to change forever 🫨. I’m so excited to meet my baby but it still feels a bit unreal like it’s not really happening 😂. I’m feeling a whole lot of things right now!!

I know exactly what you mean! It’s defo hitting home now, but I also can’t wait to be able to walk again as pgp is mentally getting me down so much 🥹

I’ve been having this exact convo this week. It doesn’t feel real, I wouldn’t be surprised if I woke up one day and it was all a dream. I’m also not ready for this to be over and quit enjoying pregnancy. I’m hoping it changes over the next few weeks x

Complete opposite, however I do already have a 5 year old. I’ve been ready for it to be over for the last two weeks. It’s been difficult, painful, mentally, physically and emotional pregnancy and I just want him here now! So I’m the complete opposite lol! Xx

Me too, still in denial it doesn't feel real at all. I'm super excited but also kinda wish I could be pregnant abit longer x

I felt very similar, from around 36 weeks started to feel so overwhelmed and suddenly very anxious about all the change that’s about to come, also excited and terrified and lots of other emotions! It’s perfectly normal and I am now nearing 38 weeks and I am so ready to meet my baby girl now and all those mixed emotions and fears have settled thankfully xx

Yeah, I completely get you. I’m 38 weeks now and I’m struggling to get my head around that at some point in the next month there will be an actual real life baby. I’m slightly reluctant for it to end. I’m uncomfortable but I love feeling her inside me, I’m going to miss that. These last few months have flown by so quickly!

omg yes to that, I’m 100% in the everything hurts stage too. It’s so so miserable!

yes! There are certainly parts of this pregnancy I’ve enjoyed and I’m not ready to let that go 😂 and I’m just now getting used to the crappy bits and coping. It doesn’t feel right that it’ll all be over so soon!

I think I’m gonna feel like this in a couple of weeks (if he’s still not here yet!). I believe it’s because I’ve been so focused and stressed on work that I’ve not had a real chance to be at home, relax, nest, feel like I’ve got everything ready.. it’s my last week this week so fingers crossed..!

yes I yearn for being able to be on my front, not that I was ever a front sleeper 😂. Sushi would be wonderful as well!! And everything else I’ve denied myself 🤣. Definitely a lot to look forward to!

yep that’s me, 36 weeks today!! I just need to get through this week and I’ll finally be done with work. I just hope baby gives me a decent chunk of time to be at home to relax and prepare 🥲.

so close now! 😱 yeah for sure - they’ve been literally part of us and only us for so long, it’s going to be so strange to be apart.

it seems to be the people saying they don’t feel ready to give up pregnancy yet are the ones that are first time Mum’s and I think I felt the same! But with the pain and everything else, mentally, physically with a child, work and a house already to run as well as everything else that’s gone on in this pregnancy I’m just over it. But you soak it up if you can! For me I won’t be having more and people say don’t you want to enjoy every last minute with it been your last but no quite frankly I want him here and safe now! Xx

I'm 37 weeks on Tuesday, so newrly 3 weeks until my due date. Only feels like a month ago when I found I was expecting and it was a surprise and I panicked and stressed and told people and they were so happy. My partner was so happy. It has been brilliant and this pregnancy has been really surprisingly easy, it's my first pregnancy and I expected worse.
But now that I only have 3 weeks left...I really dont feel ready for the little man to come out. I've gotten so used to being pregnant and feeling him move in the evenings and night. I want to have him out in the world ofc but everything's happening so fast I feel a bit overwhelmed.
So @Rhiannon
I understand understanding how you feel. We've got this though 👌
