It’s really like if you’re in love with someone and you both would like to share your love with someone else then you would create a poly and you’ll only know if you’re poly when you have that discussion with the first person your in a relationship with. You might say you’re into poly but find someone you never want to share so in reality there’s no way to know until you have this talk with your significant other and you’ll know when you’re ready too take the next step and add someone else into your relationship together
