Girl it’ll be rough but you got this!! It’s so worth it. I have to tell myself everyday.

I'm having our second in June they will be 12-14 months apart really depending on when baby comes. I've babysat for years and managing two children is easier than 4 or 5 we want to have 5-6 children trust me 2 will be easy hang in there Moms used to have 16 children

One of the things that made me smile today was watching my oldest realize his brother was growing teeth and that they can share snacks soon. He gave one piece of each snack he got next to his brother through out the entire day.
These kids have such a unique bond and closeness it’s beautiful to see them grow in love with one another. For me, it softens even the hardest moments. Congratulations mama 🩵🩵

I don’t have any advice, just wanted to say congratulations and I’m in same position as you :) my youngest just turned 1 and baby due in May.
I know it’s going to be hard work but when they are a little older they will be so close :) xx

Watching your oldest fall in love with the baby will make all the hard days worth it. My youngest is three weeks old and my oldest is 20 months.
Also include your oldest as much as possible throughout your pregnancy. I had the routine of having my oldest put lotion on my belly with me every day and I feel like it helped lay the foundation for their relationship. Also talk about the baby with them a lot and hype up the fact that they will be an older sibling and how awesome that is.
Your kiddos will be closer in age, but we started having our oldest start doing “chores” around her first birthday. Simple things like handing me the clean utensils (not knives, obviously) from the dishwasher for me to put away, taking her own dirty diapers to the garbage, or putting the dirty clothes from the hamper into the washer. This helped because now these are part of her routine and she and I can have some one on one time while I’m still knocking out household tasks.
