TMI…

The past 2 days i’ve woken up with wet underwear. It smells like urine but i’m not sure why? Could it be amniotic fluid? I’ve noticed an increase in discharge but this is all new to me 🤷🏻‍♀️ i’m 27 weeks.

I would say ring triage and get it checked out. It’s better to be safe than sorry. It might be a leak but you can’t know for sure till you get it tested. I hope it all goes well and it’s nothing.

you wont know until they do a spectrum test. I had the same thing but ended up being urine but they still done 2 scans to make sure the fluid is Ok and a test for any infections :)

Likeliness is it’s urine especially if it smells like it and discharge can ramp up quite a lot towards and during the third trimester so there is just a load of fluid going on down there. My midwife said waters don’t smell unless it’s foul which could point towards an infection but you’d know by the smells Wear a sanitary towel and monitor how much you’re getting, if after a couple of hours you find you’re soaked then it’s probably best to get checked but if not, it probably points at it being pressure on your bladder!

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
