So my 9 month old has gone through a bad patch of sleep for the last 2/3 weeks. Just wanting to be held to sleep, waking up crying when being put down in the cot. She’s always slept in her cot and I’ve never co-slept. However the last few nights I’ve been so exhausted I’ve brought her in with me. For multiple reasons being she’s disturbing her brothers sleep (2 year old) and I physically and mentally can’t function on next to no sleep 🙈 but I just can’t help but feel like I’m failing bringing her in with me early hours.

I have just gone through this with my 9 month old. I rarely co sleep but I was bringing her in on a regular basis for a couple of weeks because she would just wake up and not go back down. It's just a phase that will pass. We have just had a new night's where she is back sleeping though. Don't feel like you are failing, it's working for you at the moment and things will go back to normal.

Why is that failing? It's the complete opposite! You're responding to your baby's needs in the best way you know how and it's obviously working so I don't see the issue. Do what works for you!! X

Do what works for you and don't feel like a failure. I seen a video this morning saying how every other mammal its normal for the baby to sleep with the mum but humans are told they shouldn't do it. I also embraced the night wakes during the week when I woke up hungry and needing a drink and thought well if I'm needing these things my baby probably is aswell x

I could of written this myself. My little girl has always been a great sleeper up until the last 2/3 weeks it’s been shocking xxx
