First scan

Hi Emily. Congratulations! I have booked mine based on that but considering changing it to the 8 week mark as that’s what is recommended and what most do. I do have one booked for next weekend which will make me 6 + 6 but may be too early xx

I was planning to book one when I would be around the 7 week mark but I’m unsure if this will be too early due to the clear blue result! It’s so difficult to know so early isn’t it! Congratulations to you also xx

it really is! I’m so unsure what to do as the wait is driving me mad but then I don’t want the worry and panic if they can see anything?? And then my mind will go into overdrive. I may just stick to the originally planned scan on Sunday. I will send you a message and keep in touch xx

I have booked mine on the 7 week mark and it could possibly be too early but it’s a risk I’m willing to take don’t think I could wait the extra week it’s already torture waiting till week 7 😩 x

this is the same with me I don’t think I could allow myself to wait the extra week, it’s so hard knowing what is best to do😩xx

I got advised to move mine I was going to be 6+6 but changed to 7+6 as they said just in case couldn’t hear the heartbeat yet and would have to come back in 2 weeks. I think I’d find the 2 week wait for another scan more stressful 😅 so I’ve changed mine although an extra week of waiting is gonna hard hard haha

sooo hard! I’m the most impatient person, I found out super early so feel like it’s been months 🤣

Did you do the test on first morning wee? All the clear blue digital does is estimates how far along based on how strong the concentration of hcg is. The hcg can be much weaker if you’re well hydrated , but is strongest when you’ve had a full bladder sitting all night. That’s why first morning wee is recommended (when it’s dark yellow / orange lol)

it wasn’t! I’m waiting a few days to test in the morning! I have been testing with the HCG strips but I need to stop because the line only seems to be getting slightly darker and it’s stressing me out😅

I thought your midwife just books you in for your 12 week scan?

they do but you are able to pay privately if you wanted an earlier scan x

I booked an early scan when I was 7 weeks past LMP, but according to the ultrasound I'm only about 4 . Which would put it right for conception. I had a 3+ on CB earlier this week. I saw my gestational sack but no yolk sack yet. Got a rescan on Good Friday.

oh yeah get ya. Yeah had an early reassurance one today LMP says I’m about 7 weeks 2 days but the scan put me at 6weeks 4 days x
