Expecting bub #3 in November. Currently my 3 yr old (Jan baby) and 1 yr old (Sept baby) have their own rooms. We live in a 3 bedroom house.
What would you do for sleeping configuration once bub arrives? Bub will be in our room for a few weeks and then we will move them out. Do we put the 3 and 1 yr old together in the 3 yr olds current queen bed, in bunks or do we put the 1 yr old (will be 2 by the time bub arrives) and bub in the same room and both in cots? I'm so lost as to what will work best.

Your two older kids are closer in age with a good sleep routine and will be better off in a bedroom together with a sleeping arrangement that suits them eg if they are happy sharing a queen bed that will be fine but if they like their own bed then a low bunk is a good option as your 4year old can zzz in the top bunk and 2 year old in lower bunk… with safety rails if there’s worries about rolling off the beds..
Your newborn should absolutely stay close to you as planned and then move to own cot in a seperate room for easy access for you & your partner to checkup or take care of Bub throughout the night as Bub will probably wake a few times and need feeding/ diaper change etc and the constant disruption will not be as ideal if your 2 year old is in the same room as it will disrupt his routine and sleep etc last thing you want is for baby to cry throughout the night waking up your older kids if any of them share the room.. x

Bunks are a safety issue for kids under 7, even low bunks.
I would put the 3yo and 1yo in the queen bed. My 4yo and 1yo sleep like that holding hands.
If 1yo isn’t used to height you could put the mattress on floor on wooden slats (this helps prevent mould growth).
I wouldn’t put either child in with baby. I found my 3yo at the time would constantly be giving baby a toy/blanket/pillow etc trying to be nice 🤦♀️
