My little boy (7 weeks old) is being treated for colic although I’m starting to doubt if that’s even the case. He only seems to be upset when taking his bottle, he’s desperate to take a bottle but every sip he is screaming. I contacted my health visitor who advised me to change to comfort milk which I have done but it doesn’t seem to have made a difference. He’s now screaming because he’s hungry but when taking a bottle he is screaming and going rigid. I’m really struggling with it today, I don’t know what to do. I’m going to phone the doctors tomorrow, hopefully they will give my little man something,
Has or is anyone else experiencing this?
Thank you.

Mine had this last week, screaming mid and after feeding, mention silent reflux !!! I suspected reflux but they said he would be being sick every time but silent reflux they dont!! They’re just extremely uncomfortable around feeding / laying down etc!! We now have gaviscon for him and it’s made such a difference. You might have to really put your foot down with the GP! Silent reflux isn’t as common and not really spoken about as much xx

Sounds like silent reflux.
The doctor prescribed gaviscon so hopefully he will be in less pain soon 🤞 xx
