Should I be concerned that she still isn't doing these things? 😭

Heya momma. I can feel how worried and anxious you are!! My LO is 7 months, but I’ve worked in nurseries and saw a whole range of normal. I wouldn’t stress, babies like to do their own thing in their own time, but I would personally maybe book a HV/GP appt to discuss any concerns you have as I think it may make you feel less anxious and worried - and if there is any extra support your daughter (very cute BTW) they can discuss with you. You’re doing amazing xxxx

All babies develop at their own pace but no problem to contact your health visitor for extra support

My little boy is 7 months and the exact same! He’s completely immobile lol he just lays flat on his back and refuses to make any effort to move. He doesn’t sit either he’ll fall after 2 seconds. Never rolled on his own he just screams in tummy time😂your definitely not alone xx

My little boy is 7 months next week and cant sit up on his own just yet. I discussed it with the HV and she referred him for a little bit of physio to make his back a little stronger as he still goes to his new born scrunch.
Possibly speak to the community HV that you can visit for drop-ins or see your GP xxx

my boy is 7 months and still does the newborn scrunch after a sleep, why is it a concern? X

Does your LO have good head control? As long as that's ok, then everything else will follow and your LO may just be taking her time and enjoying being a little princess who makes mum and dad do it for her 😀 my LB has only done a couple of rolls at nearly 7mth and would rather scream until we do it for him than do it himself even though we all know he can. He also seems to hate sitting, he will lie down or stand up on you, but will only sit in his high chair where he is supported.
Of you are concerned you can contact your local HV and ask for a visit/assessment and they can give you some exercises to help LO if they think they are a little behind. But for 7mth it sounds like they are fine :)

They feel its a concern for my little one as i have a heart shaped womb (a split womb) so i was under the high risk team. In a sence ive got 2 wombs, so they think its a concern for my baby because he had half the room to grow in than a normal size womb. Its not just after a sleep my baby does it, its all the time, 24/7. He battles with me to get changed, sitting in the car seat ect. He never straightens out. Hates tummy time. He acts like hes still a new born. Said he may be stuck like that an never develop the strength properly. If your also worried that hes in the new born scrunch a lot more than he should be, id visit your health clinc (in the HV words, its best to visit a clinic than a GPs as atleast they wont by pass you re any concerns for a baby). atleast if they are worried, they will refer your LO on xx

I wouldn’t worry! My baby is nearly 8 months and she laughs but only just rolling onto her side and wobbly when sitting up. She’ll soon be up and laughing soon please try not to worry xx
