I'm after some cheap car recommendations for a family car that can fit myself, my husband and put soon to be 4 children (currently have 3)! Don't want to spend alot, I'm definitely looking second hand. I'm tossing up between maybe a Mazda cx9 or a Holden captiva (7 seater) just wanting to know everyone experiences with both and boot space ect. I'll need to be having 2 car seats and 2 without.
Thank you so much x

I have 4 in car seats in our cx9. I had 4 under 3

Depending on your situation and budget. Honda Odyssey's are a good reliable car, but are quite small, more of a station wagon type car rather than an SUV or van. We have 3 car seats and just slightly upgraded my 7 seater 2004 Kia carnival to an 8 seater 2016 carnival and seats all just great. We're also very tall, myself at 5'9 and hubby at 6'5 and we both can sit comfortably in the middle seats.

We have 2011 diesel Holden Captiva 7 seater. We are lucky that it has been driving great since purchasing it secondhand a couple of years ago. Not great if you are looking for any fancy entertainment but great for space. If you fold up the last two back seat, there isn’t much space for luggage and shopping bags. However Holden Captiva is really a bit hit and miss. If your budget can stretch a bit, later model CX9 is better
