I started putting my baby girl down at night after changing, feeding and rocking her at night. Sometimes she wakes up when I put her down sometimes she doesn’t, if she does she may cry for 5-10 min before she falls asleep. If she goes any longer I go in and re rock her/ offer more milk. It’s not easy for sure, and she still won’t sleep alone for naps oddly enough. I do make sure she’s showing tired signs before I put her down, my baby rubs her eyes and yawns. I started this at 3 months and she’s 5 months now and it’s much easier with a schedule. We do bath time before bed now and it knocks her out. You got this! Dm me if you have any questions on what works for us!

following cause im in the same situation desperately seeking advice. me and my partner are moving right now and i have no idea how i am going to get anything done ):

We also have a white noise machine that plays while she sleeps, that helps a lot

I’ve heard there are books that help teach you what to do, I don’t do cry it out necessarily because it’s really hard to hear her cry but you know when they’re tired and fed and changed and they are just having a hard time changing there comfy pattern. I’ve heard consistency is key, transfer every time they fall asleep on you and they will eventually get the hang of it. I’m hoping mine will grow out of contact naps. But I’m lucky she sleeps pretty good alone at night in her own room
