UTI confused!

Do you have a uti? They can be silent. I had multiple in my first pregnancy and in general that were silent with zero symptoms. Now I request to get tested every check up because of that.

Do you put pressure while urinating ? I developed a urethral diverticulum during my last miscarriage because I felt like I was never emptying my bladder and yeah I would get the weird feeling of going constantly but nothing will come out.

I recently went to urgent care with the same issue, turns out my daughter is just sitting so low it’s creating a pressure and urgency. I swore it was a uti. You can buy UTI test strips to help you determine if you need to be seen but I was told to just make sure I’m filling relieving my bladder when I go and I try to hydrate enough to ensure I am constantly flushing my system. Hope you find more comfort!

it’s worth getting checked! Asymptomatic UTI’s are quite common in pregnancy. Sometimes the home kits will test positive when pregnant even if you’re actually negative. Baby for sure can put pressure and make you feel like you have to go more, but if it’s making you wonder def lean on the safe side and check it out.

I’d definitely just get checked for a uti it can’t hurt pregnancy can do weird things to your body and you may have one without having any of the painful symptoms

I'm 27 weeks 5 days and I currently have a UTI I would have never known if I didn't go to the hospital for contractions! Sometimes you can have no symptoms!
