Idk if I’m experiencing ppd or if I just get overwhelmed easily. But these last few months have been hard. The majority of my days are okay then all of the sudden I feel super emotional, angry, unsettled, & extremely insecure. I have been seeing a therapist but it doesn’t really feel like it’s been helping. I wish I could just consistently feel at peace OR feel more supported during the times that I do feel more on edge. I feel like all my husband is quick to do during those times is gas light me & it sucks.
I love being a mom & have always wanted this! & i LOOOOOVE my baby. But it’s really hard having moments where I feel like I’m not myself or experiencing the pressure of having all the responsibility of caring for not only yourself, but another human being, & your household. I don’t feel like I have much support from my SO bc he’s so busy with school/2 jobs. Idk. I feel lonely. & guilty.

Ohhh, mama, I feel this. I am the SAME. A month ago I loaded up my baby that was just getting over covid and sat in the Sonic parking lot and cried into a Sonic blast because I was just worn completely thin.
My mama friends/family tell me this is entirely normal and part of finding your footing after becoming a mom. Mom-ing is HARD.
I have found moments during the day when my son is napping to do something for me, even if it's as simple as putting on a sheet mask. And it has helped me feel like "me" again. Because it is super easy to forget who you are outside of "mom" and "wife".

Get your hormones checked. A lot of PPD is caused by progesterone levels not going back to normal when it should and remaining low. I would go to your doctor and get a check on that and see if supplements can help. There’s lots of research on it but unfortunately this isn’t pushed. You also need some alone and personal time. Even if it’s 1hr once a week. Postpartum.net also has support groups that can help

If you want to continue therapy, it is always okay to advocate for yourself and find someone new. Therapy is for you and so you deserve to find someone who is a good fit for you. Postpartum.net also has people that are familiar in your area listed in their directory. I hope you start feeling better soon.
