My baby is 9 weeks old. She wakes in the night once or twice for feeding (or so I am presuming).
However more often then not she's not actually waking, I'm woken by her smacking her lips, she also shuffles, lifts legs up and down, turns her head side to side but isn't actually awake.
The lip smacking indicates to me she is hungry however I have also read a lot of these cues are actually self settling behaviors and that you should leave them be if this is case.
Can anyone advise from what I have described if I should pick her up and feed her each time or if these wakes are not potentially about feeding?

I’ve started leaving my 10 week old to sleep unless he’s properly awake and moaning as above said and he’s actually now sleeping through from about 10-5/530, I do get woke up constantly by his grunting and wiggling but it’s usually a 30 seconds and back to sleep x
