Baby #2

Found out recently I am pregnant with my 2nd (6 weeks)! I had GD with my last pregnancy. Did you have it again with your 2nd? I have been testing my levels and everything seems normal but it is also still very early.

I've eaten well ever since finding out. My son is 26 months now and I've been cautious ever since of what I put in my body sugar and carb wise. I'm 21 weeks now.. get my glucose drink next week and will test my fasting has been good so crossing fingers 🤞

did you have to take the test earlier? will this be your 2nd time taking it this pregnancy?

I asked to take it early for peace of mind but my ob said 24 weeks is fine. So seeing that I'll be 2 weeks shy of 24 weeks next week wanted to get it done already. My mfm said it'll be a good idea to test early but my ob said otherwise.

My first pregnancy GD was controlled my diet and exercise and I never had any crazy numbers. I don’t see my doctor until the 19th of April so we will see what they say. Good luck on your test!

Thank you! Mine was diet controlled too, that's why I'm thinking he did 24 weeks was okay to check.

Young mum

Hi guys,

I’m just wondering if there’s any other young parents that are getting further into their pregnancy and like, genuinely just clocking that I’m gonna be responsible for a baby and I don’t know everything their is to know about baby’s I feel like I’m gonna be so useless and accidently be the worst mum in the world 🫣

Does anyone else feel like this? Or felt like this? I’m 19 and genuinely have so much anxiety about this now I’m 20 weeks lol

So annoyed, dog jumped on me :( now I’m anxious

I have a big dog and she NEVER jumps.. today I came home and my mum was with me visiting and my dog must have just got over whelmed and she jumped and ended up scratching my lower back,

with that I’ve bent backwards almost and stretched my lower belly and it didn’t hurt as such just felt like tha shock ligament pain but ofc I haven’t actually bent that far since being pregnant and now I just feel anxious really and just need some reassurance. It only happened about 15 mins ago and I have felt baby a little since

But why is there always something to worry about!😭

Anemia

So my results from the glucose test were good (that’s positive) but It looks like I have anemia. Someone in the same situation? Waiting to see what my doctor says, but any tips would be appreciated.
