My baby is breech and there’s a chance I’ll be scheduling a C-section during week 37 plus cutting my cerclage then.
Is there anything you packed in your hospital bag that was specifically related to the C-section?
Also, what kind of PJs did you pack? I’m imagining a night gown so I wouldn’t have a band around my abdomen from pants or shorts.
Any items that really helped you recover from a C-section?
I’m hoping my baby flips but I’d rather be prepared! I’m approaching week 32.

Ask them for a binder!! It was soooo helpful after. I’m having my second c-section in a few weeks.
Robe
Binder
Nursing bras (2)
Compression socks
Comfy Jammies (the target button down ones are amazing)
Going home outfit for me and baby (I got xl sweats and a sweatshirt)
Peri bottle (I like the frida mom one better than the one they give you)
Charger
Toiletries

And a nursing pillow!

You ask for ECV to help baby go head down

High waisted cotton undies, and for pajamas target's stars above brand was my favorite with my last section. They can be worn higher up, the waist band isn't too tight, and they are super soft! I ordered 3 more pairs to bring with me for this babe. For the car ride home, keep a pillow in the car for splinting. Hug that sucker over your abdomen when you go over bumps or potholes because man let me tell you that car ride home sucks 😂 well. For the next couple days actually. Also make sure you splint while coughing or sneezing! Aside from that, I didn't need anything extra in the hospital. At home I continued to sleep with my pregnancy pillow because it helped to support me more and it helped with sitting up. And make sure you stay on top of your pain meds (even if it's just motrin and tylenol) because you do not wanna be chasing that pain. Also stay on top of your stool softeners because there's no pushing when it comes to pooping for a while 😂
