Hello,
My family and I are currently going through Covid, we’re closer to the end now but my little one hasn’t wanted to nurse. I have been having to pump and give him bottles. I’m sure it’s because he is congested and so it’s hard to latch on, nurse and try to breathe with a congested nose.
But every time I’m pumping I’m only getting 2-4 ounces and usually when he nurses he gets more out. Is there anything else I can do to keep my supply up? Or how can I get him to nurse again once he’s feeling better?
Thank you!

Keep pumping to help keep your supply up. I had Covid 3 weeks ago and I kept pumping and staying hydrated and my supply only dipped a little.
Use saline drops and nose suction to help unclog his nose so he can breathe better and may nursing as well
I hope you feel better soon

2-4 Oz is lots. Why do you think he gets more when nursing directly?
Illness can make your supply drop a little but it's temporary
thank you! Was your little one able to nurse? Mine hasn’t wanted to nurse since Wednesday even if I suction his nose, so I’m worried he’s no longer going to want to nurse again.

I exclusively pump but I know the feeling when he was drinking his bottle. He wouldn’t finish his bottle at all. You can keep offering breast and he should continue.
