Have been EBF since birth however my girl is 9 m/o now and I will be going back to work soon and also want a bit more freedom so am trying to pump and bottle feed for majority of feeds, but still do a couple of breast feeds too.
I’m trying to pump using a Hakka and an electric elvie one, however I don’t seem to be producing enough milk. I massage first and get the milk flowing a bit before I put them on, just worried about my supply drying up and my girl going hungry at this rate! Been getting 30-60 ml per boob per session, and my baby is drinking 3 times that and fast getting through my frozen stock!
Any tips on how to get more milk out?

The spectra pump and the hand pumps are the best. Nothing else gets my milk out like those. Wearable pumps suck for me personally and the Hakka is really only good for catching milk. Also make sure your flange is the right size cause that will absolutely effect how much milk you get.

Just in case anyone else has the same problem and finds this post:
I bought a medela hand pump and that got a lot more out
I also got in touch with the breastfeeding network (24hour live chat support) and they had some great advice and were really reassuring- apparently only pumping 10-60ml when still breastfeeding is actually really good! Highly recommend getting in touch with them if you’re struggling!
