Help any tips on getting her to stay in bed. She will sleep in her own room fine for naps and most of the night but she will randomly wake up and start screaming and crying like she’s terrified to be in her room. She already has a nightlight in her room

My son does this sometimes and will request to go “out!” of his room. To get him regulated again and calm him down, we do go out of the room to either the living room, his playroom, or sometimes our bedroom if we’re really tired. I’ve found that this eases him and helps us meet his needs. After about an hour, he’s ready to go back into his room and back to sleep. Sometimes we both have a snack too, and he always looks like he feels so much better and happy and no longer terrified after the experience. I’m not sure if it’s because they are experiencing separation anxiety or perhaps experiencing more vivid dreams, but I know that these moments will pass so it does not bother us much to provide him with comfort and love in the middle of the night. Usually my husband will also come and be with us so it’s a really comforting moment for our kiddo ❤️ I love this support and suggest your husband support too if possible!

All that to say, this momma definitely needs her coffee to get up and go to work in the mornings after these nights lol.

I got a light show that plays lullabies from Amazon. We also put ours in a Montessori bed and put an eye and hook latch on the bottom of the gate to go with the slide lock on the top of it. Sounds harsh to some, but it's a safety thing for us
