Early mornings 🥲 !

Hi Mamas, my little one is 4 months old. We are in an amazing routine, and I’m really grateful for this!! He naps in his cot every hour and half (this is his wake window) and he tells me that he needs it and it works really well for him. He cries and cries cries at 4:00pm/5pm for his bath and bedtime. We put him in the bath at 4pm (try and hold out for as long as possible), and then he’s down at 5 and doesn’t wake until 4/5am the next morning. I’m soooo grateful for this and my evenings, I’m very lucky!!! However… the early mornings are starting to make me feel like my days are just so long and I’m exhausted!! I’ve tried putting him down for a nap at 4/5pm, and he’ll eventually go to sleep but only for 20 mins and then he’s up crying for his bath again! Literally laughs in the bath 🤣, and then goes straight to sleep.

Have you got any advice how I can push this back? Don’t get me wrong he only stays up for an hour after waking and then back to bed .. maybe I just need to accept it!

Yeah girl, I saw another post of mums of 4-5month old babies complaining about the 5am wake up. My baby is waking up 5am too. We all mentioned different bed times. I think it’s a phase!

We are getting earlier too. Apparently with the clocks changes it will be a good thing for us?!

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
