We’re trying to transition my 7 month old from her next to me to her cot in her own room however she likes to have her face fully pressed against the side of her next to me or has to have something touching her face or she struggles to soothe. Obviously bumpers are a no due to the risks but is there anything I could use to help her? She’s hating her cot atm because of it and will only have 10-15min naps if that

No idea what you could put in your existing cot.
Only wanted to say that Chicco do a Next to me Forever cot that is taller, bigger and suitable for a toddler and is convertible to a standalone cot with mesh sides and a toddler bed.
Only saying this in case that was an option for you, because she could then press her face into the mesh sides safely.

My son was the same so started giving him a super thin muslin. He'd press it up against his face and fall asleep then I'd remove it. Now he's almost 2 and still goes to sleep the same way but places it over his face while he drifts off then it gets pushed to the side. I'm not suggesting you do this as every baby is different but just letting you know what we did.
