I had one of the all bells and whistles ones for my oldest and hated it so got the ikea one for my youngest. Get the Ikea one!

Oh boy we have been through it with high chairs. Our first was this cute raccoon one. Adorable and easy-ish to clean the tray but it's reclined too far back and he couldn't reach the step

Our second was from Baby Trend. It has a leather backing which is also easier to clean. Slightly better with the sitting up than the raccoon also it folds.

But really your best option is to read the list on Solid Starts cause it really made me re-think high chairs

Stokke Tripp trapp. It grows with baby and adults can sit in it if needed. Also not a lot of surface areas you have to clean or crevices you need to get in between.

Tripp trapp, or another brand in the same style, like the hauck alpha + or kinderkraft 3 in 1 Enock etc

I have the Maxi Così Moa. It’s an 8 in 1 & can be used up to 50lbs when used as a stool. Not to mention it’s super modern & easy to clean.

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

Bedtime routine

I have a 12 week old and we struggle to get him to sleep in his next to me crib or Moses basket, so he sleeps in bed with us which means we’re struggling to have a bedtime routine as he won’t sleep till i go to bed with him.
Any suggestions please as he doesn’t sleep till around 11/12
