Any mums that had a nipple piercing that they took out and have breastfed?
I took mine out at the start of my pregnancy and notice that with my colostrum that it comes out of one nipple fine but seems to get clogged in the previously pierced nipple.
Any advice or what your experience was like when it came to developing your milk and breastfeeding?

I haven't had any issues. Lactation told me sometimes they see milk not flow through that area due to the trauma, but I haven't had issues

I don't have personal experience with this as the only facial piercings I have are my ears, tounge, monroe, & my ears.
However intrigued interested and following. Wanted to comment so it dint just look like i dint care or was being lazy by just liking it

I took mine out around 20 weeks since they weren’t healed, I had my son on the 15th and it hasn’t affected my supply at all

took mine out when we started trying.. in the beginning it was hard for him to latch on that boob (don't know if it has anything to do with the scars of the piercing), now he prefers it because it's faster flow than the other one (again, don't know if anything to do with the piercing) - def no problem here!
Okay, I hope mine doesn't have issues then. It feels like the way it's healed has blocked some of the passage, so I'm just a bit anxious about breastfeeding. It's pretty much fully closed even though it was fully healed before i took it out. If I squeeze my boob I can get some colostrum out, but it's not like my right boob where it just freely leaks 😅
