At what point in your pregnancy did you stop doing long walks / hikes?
I'm 25 weeks, still comfortably walking for 3 or 4 hours at a time.
The past couple of days, I've had a really strong urge to do snowdon again, and now I'm set on doing before baby is here.
So I'm wondering at what point am I going to be too uncomfortable to do long walks? Do I need to do it in the next couple of weeks š¤£

Agree listen your body⦠Iām 36 weeks tomorrow and although not going to attempt showdown anytime soon𤣠still doing muddy walks and when I feel I can 2+ hour walks⦠unless advised otherwise or my body doesnāt feel good about it Iām not going to stopāŗļø

Exactly what Nicole said. Honestly, i still can walk up to 10km, but not every day. On my 34-week, i went on a city break with my husband to Dublin and walked the first day 25 km and the second day 17km. Now i'm 39+1

If you really want to do it pregnant Iād suggest doing it sooner rather than later just incase pgd sets in. My hips stopped me from hiking in the 2nd half of my pregnancy but if you donāt have any issues then you can keep going for as long as youāre comfortable x
Perfect, thank you all. I think I'm going to look at going before 30 weeks, just incase!
@Lexie I hope I'm still able to walk that far at 34 weeks, that's amazing! x

Just listen to your body. I would t mind doing snowdon while pregnant . At least I can say I conquered something.

I've just come back from hiking at 32 weeks, not at my usual speed I will say... Just POV, make sure you're drinking enough water (more than you think) and having regular snacks is all I'd suggest. Your body will tell you when you've had enough and take a break. ā¤ļø
@Abby what a lovely picture š
I love seeing how active all you beautiful mommas have stayed.
It's definitely made my mind up to stay active, and conquer snowdon again before baby comes! Thank you all ā¤ļø

I was the same as Helena, right up until a few days before! And started to do less rural walks too š

I was still scrambling at 6 months pregnant! I felt ok, it was slow but still did it š¤£
