I’ve had a low sex drive since I was pregnant. My baby is now 15 months and I still have no drive. It could be that I’ve lost touch with my partner since we don’t have the best of relationship. We’re always arguing and he has said some degrading things to me so that could be the reason. I’m just longing to feel like a normal person again. Not just a mother because this seems to be my sole existence these days. I love my baby dearly but I just want to be happy. Can anyone relate or offer advice?

I feel the same!! My daughter is 15 months old and my marriage is pretty much going down the tubes since she was about 8 months old. My husband says anything and everything to hurt me . I’m going to pack up and move back with my parents soon. Possibly in the next few days. I wish I could give you some advice but all I can do is relate…you’re not alone at least! Haha…. He says I’m a shit mom everyday, I know better and refuse to let him get in my head with it. My daughter is breastfed and for whatever reason I can’t pump, so I LITERALLY have never been away from her side for more than two hours(which was only once for emergency) and I’m SO BuRNT OUt! Not only is my husband no help with her, I am forced to do everything and then get told how bad I am at it constantly. I’m leaving this house with my daughter possibly tomorrow and never coming back. I turn 30 on the 13th and I refuse to live my next 30 years miserable when I donT have to be.

Hi! I’m exactly in the same boat. Zero sexual drive. And it’s a constant fight on this issue, no matter how much I explain to him that I am breastfeeding that influences that I am tired, I am with our baby ALL THE TIME, so all my attention and energy goes to her, He just don’t understand.. I'm going to start exercising hoping that will increase my libido and my self esteem.

just out of curiosity how many time do you breastfeed in a day?

tbh as many times as she wants it. Which usually during the day she treats my boobs like sippy cups and takes a few sips and then is back off to the races! Hahaha her long feeds happen to get her down for a nap/bedtime and when she wakes up from her nap and wakes up in the morning. She is so hard to get to drink anything else! Sweet tea is the only thing she will actually drink more than a sip or two of. It’s soooo frustrating! I wanted to quit breastfeeding when she turned one but now I see no hope in sight!!!
oh sorry to hear what you’re going through Emily, my heart breaks for you. It’s sad that we have to go through so much! At least you have your mother still, I’ve lost both my parents and have no one to turn to for support. I’m in the trenches!

You can hmu anytime if you just need to vent or whatever! I’m sorry you don’t have anyone around for support. This is the shit they don’t tell you about in any parenting class that’s for sure
