Hi my little girl is nearly 5 months old and I'd say for maybe the last 3 weeks her sleep has gone completely rubbish at night. She no longer feeds through the night but has always required a nappy change as she fusses. But recently she's started waking up for 1.5-3 hours a night squealing, chatting, lifting her legs and banging them down. Shes generally happy it's almost like she's playing but the broken nights sleep are starting to take their toll especially when trying to entertain my 3 year old. Any help, suggestions, advice would be greatly appreciated. And has this happened to anyone else so I don't feel completely alone in this? X

Here with you! But last night my little girl decided every 45 minutes was enough sleep ðŸ«

The "lifting her legs and banging them down" made me chuckle as our little girl has recently started doing this too.Yes,we're going through a very similar thing. She used to go down, wake for feeds but go straight back to sleep and now she wants to have some playtime in the night too and also more sensitive to surroundings/crying more at night. We think it's down to the 4 month sleep regression (big changes and developments in their brains and sleep patterns).Hoping she will come out the other end sleeping better (and longer!)than ever 😴 Apparently this "4 month sleep regression" tends to last about a month so hopefully your LO will pass through it soon x

My baby 5 months and is doing the same! He sleeps 10-2 then awake till 5 and then sleeps until 7😂 when he’s awake he just babbles and shouts 😂xxx
