Urgh gosh I think my 2.5 year old might be ready to drop his nap, he takes ages to fall asleep and even when he does he doesn’t sleep for long unless he’s especially tired. I’m just not ready for him to drop it 😂 those couple of hours are my sacred time, time to rest, time to have a tea/eat something, time to tidy and sort a few things out before the chaos recommences. I’m 21 weeks pregnant which probably doesn’t help!! Can anyone else relate?!

Oh absolutely can relate! I would say that my little one naps 2 out of 7 days. She will still be put in her cot and if she doesn't sleep she will read books to herself and sing for an hour before I get her up again, I tell her that she doesn't have to sleep if she doesn't want to, but it's quiet time and to read some books nicely. I still get my break and she's happy doing that 🤷

I feel you! I thought my 2.5 year old was dropping his naps but he has started again. I’ve also got a 9 month old and since I’ve realised whens best to put him down for a nap, my 2.5 year old has been putting himself down for a nap, he just follows suit and goes to sleep. I do have to wake him up after 2 hours when my 9 months old wakes up and then at 6:00 when I put my 9 month old to bed, he again follows suit and asks for paw patrol and after 10/15 minutes he’s asleep xx
