Had mine yesterday im 40+2 still only 1cm i have a induction scheduled for friday but i hope she comes on her own.. try not to worry to much you could be at 3cm for a while. But definitely be on the lookout for any signs like losing your mucus plug and of course contractions.

I had one at 36w5d and was 1.5cm and 40% effaced. Then another at 38w2d and was 3cm and still only 40% effaced. Now I’m 39wk and still no signs of going into labor any time soon! Remember that unless you see the “bloody show”, it’s possible for your mucus plug to regenerate so effacement can shift week over week. And like it was mentioned in the comment above, you can be at 3cm for weeks before going into actual labor. You got this!

Try not to stress about it. You can be 3cm for weeks and still go past your due date.

My sister was 3cm for a month and had to be induced—still resulted in a 24 hour labor. Like everyone else says, you can be 3cm for a while.
